Kendrick entered the premium cigar industry in 2009 by acquiring a small cigar shop in Sandy, UT, called Hungry Trout Cigars. He rebranded the shop and moved operations to Salt Lake City, marking the beginning of his journey of establishing Beehive as a premier destination for cigar connoisseurs. 

Tayler joined the Beehive team in 2020, quickly establishing himself as a vital part of our operations. A veteran of the retail and service industries, his skillset combined with his passion for premium cigars helps Beehive maintain its status as a leader in premium cigar sales. He also is an avid classic car enthusiast and can often be seen riding his Harley-Davidson Electroglide. 

Scott Whittaker has casually maintained a small personal humidor since his early twenties it was only in recent years that he began diving deep into this rich world and making friends in the community. While most of his adult life has been spent in commercial kitchens and buried in books on meditation and eastern philosophy, his passion for premium tobacco has taken his career in a whole new direction. He can’t help but talk cigars & pipes with anyone who shares this passion.⁠

Jimbo has been with Beehive since 2020. He loves cigars (and pipes!) because they offer him the time to reflect, slow down, and catch his breath. His passion shines whenever he's meeting and helping customers find the perfect cigar. He loves that the world of premium cigars brings people from all walks of life together. In his spare time he can be found spending time with his wife and family, and playing music (he plays a mean bass guitar).

Rick started smoking during the Covid lock downs. He quickly fell in love with the aroma, flavor, and celebration of time that tobacco has to offer. He loves picking up the individual notes and flavors presented by cigars and connects those memories to those flavors expressed. Rick graduated from Weber State in 2023 with a bachelors in Psychology and a minor in Anthropology. He joined the Beehive team in 2023 and quickly established himself irreplaceable to the team

Anyone who knows Neal could describe him as the quintessential cigar nerd. He loves diving deep into the world of cigars, combining his passion and knowledge to give our customers the best experience possible.

In his free time he produces beats and skateboards.
